How popular is it?
It created an Ebay bidding war upon its release. In Elkton, Maryland, a brawl on the first day of release disrupted sales.  In general, electronic gaming is extremely popular with males, from boys to middle-aged men, throughout the world.  The introduction of each new game system is heralded with much anticipation worldwide.  Currently, the XBox system plays second fiddle to the Sony PlayStation system in terms of sales, but Microsoft is charging hard.
