iPod
Nano
What is it?
Made by Apple Computers, the
iPod Nano is a tiny hand-held computer device, known as an MP3,
which stores and plays (or displays) digital music, photographs,
podcasts and audiobooks. But the most popular use by far is
music, and this little device can store 1000 or more songs.
CNET says, "The iPod Nano has a gorgeous, superslim design with a
bright, photo-friendly screen." What's the
big deal?
There are many portable devices that store and play digital music and
other digital files, but the iPod is by far the most popular, and the
Nano – the smallest iPod – is by far the coolest. It is tiny,
sleek and very user-friendly. And along with the other iPod
incarnations, it is driving (here in the middle of the first decade of
the 21st century) a revolution away from CD-recorded and distributed
music to digital tunes on demand via the Internet. How
popular is it?
CNET says, it sets the standard for MP3 players to come.
Music on CDs is so passé!
