The Virginia City
depot sits in the shadows just beyond the small rail bridge at the
far end of the lake.
Virginia City was a boom town during the gold rush of the 1860s.
Today's Virginia City is a restored Montana pioneer town, composed
of original local buildings, some of which are still utilized for
various purposes.
