Brother Van Ordsdel preached at the Methodist Church in Bannack, Montana in the 1870s.  Bannack was a boom town during the gold rush of the 1860s, and served as the first territorial capital.  Many of the 19th century buildings in Bannack have been preserved and/or restored.
