This dead tree on Jekyll Island appears to be trying to walk away from the ocean.  The Driftwood Beach is one of the more beautiful stretches of beach on Jekyll, yet unknown to many.  A number of weddings have taken place on the beach over the years. Photo © Bruce Gourley 2005
